PCN APPOINTMENTS

As a Primary Care Network, we are working together to provide enhanced access appointments for our registered population.  Our plan for these appointments was approved by Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care Board in August 2022. 

There are appointments available at one or more of our practice locations. 

Appointment times

Mon – Thu 7.30am – 8.00am appointments at Abbottswood Medical Centre or Pershore Medical Practice

Mon – Fri 6.30pm -8.00pmm appointments at Abbottswood Medical Centre, Pershore Medical Practice or Upton Surgery

Saturdays 9.00am – 5.00pm appointments at Abbottswood Medical Centre, Pershore Medical Practice or Upton Surgery

Appointments are pre-bookable by contacting your own surgery during our opening times.  Appointments are a mix of telephone and face to face appointments with a variety of different clinicians from across our clinical team.

If you need to contact the practice about one of these appointments outside our opening hours (for example to cancel an appointment), you can call 01905 969 864 weekdays 6.30pm-8.00pm and Saturdays 9am-5pm.

The Saturday appointments will rotate around the three practice sites as follows:

Our Wellbeing Team provide a range of services to patients in Pershore & Upton - including Social Prescribing, Lifestyle Advice, and Wellbeing Coaching. These services are provided by Onside Advocacy.

The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) have specialist mental health workers trained to work with mental health difficulties among children and young people registered with our GPs. They offer a range of services to help young people get back to their daily activities, and manage their mental health.

All of us at some point feel low, anxious, worried or depressed. It is completely normal - but it can have a significant impact on your daily life, and when you reach that point, it’s important you get the right support. Healthy Minds are a self-refer service who are here to help.

The Glade supports women and men who have experienced rape or sexual assault. All clients are treated with dignity and respect, regardless of gender identity, age, ethnicity, ability or sexuality.

The NHS has created an A-Z guide to health conditions - allowing patients to search for and learn more about conditions affecting both themselves and their family.

Speech and language therapists work in partnership with children, their families and other professionals at Children’s Centres, schools, and other friendly, familiar settings.

If you are experiencing pain, trauma, swelling, uncontrolled bleeding e.g. after an extraction and/or severe pain within your mouth, the Urgent Dental Care service offer a walk in service on weekends and bank holidays.
